Chili
The Best In The West

Brown the following
ingredients:
- 3-lbs of chili meat or lean hamburger meat
- 1-pound package of sausages [such as Jimmy Dean sausages - not
link sausages]
- 3-oz cooking oil
- 3-cloves finely chopped garlic
- 1-teaspoon black pepper
- 1-chopped large onion
Place the above in a large
pot, then add the following ingredients:
- 6-tablespoons chili powder
- 1-bell pepper chopped
- 1-tablespoon cummin
- 3-jalepeno peppers (sliced)
- 12-tablespoons masa harina
- 4-beef bouillon cubes [about 3 minutes after cooking - taste
test and add more if needed]
- 2-chicken bouillon cubes [about 3 minutes after cooking -
taste test and add more if needed]
- 2-tablespoons vinegar
- 2-can of tomato sauce
- 1/2-teaspoons red chili
- 3 cups of hot water [start with 3 cups and add as necessary]
- Add Salt to taste [wait until after you conduct the bouillon
cube taste test]
Cover pot with a lid and
simmer for 5 to 6 hours
- Add 1/2 can of beer about thirty minutes before the simmer is
completed. Make sure to do this - it will make a smooth chili.
- Break out a large bowl and chow
down
wipe your chin every once in awhile.
